Water isn’t as simple as it seems! We’re bombarded with varying recommendations on how much to drink, when to drink it, what kind to drink…so what’s all the fuss about?

The simple fact is this: our lives and wellbeing revolve around water. Our body composition is 75% water: blood is made up of 80% water; muscles, skin, and the brain are all 75%; and bones are 25% water. It’s no wonder that we use around 3 litres of water a day – even more if we’re active!

Water, besides being integral to the very structure of our bodies, has a range of essential functions within the human body.

– It insulates, protects, lubricates, and assists in the cleansing of kidneys; bowels; blood; and tissue
– Increases blood volume and increases white blood cells
– Assists in the function of the central nervous system

So you know that water is important, but did you know that there are different types of water? Tap water, filtered water, energised water, tank water, bore water, even flavoured water…With so many types, how are we supposed to know what’s best for us?

We’re getting into the nitty-gritty of what’s in your water. We’re looking at the two most common types of water in the modern world: tap water and energised water. What are they, what’s in them, and what’s best for you?

Energised Water is water that has been restored to its natural state. This occurs when organically flowing water passes over and around the rocks in a stream. This impact causes the water to move on a molecular level, resulting in molecular deconstruction, which leaves the water fresh and energised.

Tap water is the water stored in town and city reservoirs and delivered to your home through the tap. You can’t see it, but tap water is actually teeming with hundreds of chemicals that can be detrimental to your health. Tap water can even contain carcinogenic material like chlorine or fluoride. Tap water, sitting stagnant in tanks for long period of time, is stripped of its natural hydrogen and energy.

So it seems like the answer is pretty obvious, doesn’t it? Give us a moment. Let’s break it down further.
There’s a reason why so many of us are still drinking tap water. There are a range of perceived benefits of tap water including:

– It’s better for the environment (than bottled water)
– It is cheaper to purchase (than bottled water)
– It’s convenient

There are more benefits to drinking energised water. Energised water, particularly if you install an energising system on your home supply, is all of the above.

– It’s good for the environment, as it doesn’t need to be bottled and shipped
– It’s cheaper to purchase: a water energising system is a one-off purchase, and doesn’t require filters that wear out and need replacing
– It’s convenient: you can install an energising system directly onto your home supply: it still comes out the tap!

But there’s even more. Your health can actually be improved by drinking energised water. Energised water:

– Improves your health and immune system
– Helps eliminate and neutralise toxins
– Promotes optimal hydration
– Tastes better and fresher
– Helps reduce inflammation
– Improves digestion
– Improves blood circulation
– Regulates acidity levels with the body
– Assists with mineral absorption

In the end, it seems kind of simple, doesn’t it? Energised water has by far the most benefits of the two: whether environmental or health-related, we vote energised water every time!
